"This meeting was a part of our efforts to accelerate the MoU completion between the Indonesian government and the Saudi  Kingdom regarding PMI placement in Saudi Arabia," secretary-general of the Manpower Ministry, Anwar Sanusi, said in a statement received here on Wednesday.

During the meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 14, 2022, officials also signed the minutes of an earlier bilateral meeting between he two countries on the sidelines of the 2nd Employment Working Group (EWG) meeting in Yogyakarta province.

The progress of drafting the MoU between the technical teams of the two countries has been running smoothly and productively and with progress in placement and protection issues for PMI, Sanusi informed.
